Boo!

Posting pics of the Halloween festivities at Dawsonshire. It was a fantastic time!

The Dawsonshire hub hosted camo guys, a teenage mutant ninja turtle, spidy, a gangster, a princes, Optimus Prime, and best costumes of all, KJ as a dragon with his cousin Chelsea as a butterfly.

Keanon cooked in his well insulated, fleece dragon pants and hooded coat. Walking up to doorsteps and looking cute is so exhausting – he was over it by the end of the night. We struggled to get pics of him on the porch with Chelsea…he was so done!

All in all it was a great time and I think everyone had fun. Next year Keanon will get to eat a piece of that candy. Woahs me…what am I going to do with Keanon’s candy? I can’t let it go to waste, (waist)… guess I’ll have to eat it!

Catch me if you can!

Did I mention that I’ve been putting in some serious time using my feet lately! Yeah, that’s right, I’m walking!!

I walk from here to there, I walk everywhere! Well except down the stairs where I promptly stop, drop, and crawl down backwards. Mom and dad call me the zombie since I walk with my arms out and in not a very straight line. I’m working on that. On rough terrain, I employ my truck. Helps to keep me steady.

It’s fall harvest time around my house. Dad has been bringing in squash and pumpkins by the wagon full. Yes, this pic of me in the wagon is the real deal – straight out of my parent’s garden!

Along with the walking is a lot of new stunts, like climbing on my little chair, tackling the pugs, (giving them hugs) which is more like an atomic drop until they surrender to the floor, and I have mastered an all out run – depending on my shoe status of course. I tend to be more agile without shoes. Being a typical boy, I have already suffered my first fat lip! This was an unfortunate incident between my new top tooth and the leg of dad’s desk. I hardly cried. I’m tough. I mean, after all, it’s not the first time I’ve seen blood.

I’m all geared up for Halloween! It’s a big deal in my neighborhood so mom’s been prepping the gift bags all week. All of us kids tried on our costumes last week. I’ve posted a pic of me in Edgar’s hotdog outfit. He hates to wear it so I was trying to show him that “it’s not so bad being a hot dog”.

Birthday Boy!

I had a fantastic Birthday! Because my parents call me “Monster” it was a monster theme. I wore a monster shirt and mom even made me a monster cake. Yum!

I love birthday balloons. Mom and dad got me a big one!

My parents also gave me a hair cut at the end of the day. I was really giving dad a hard time given that I had some crusty frosting stuck in my hair and trying to comb through it was kinda painful…but I feel lighter with my new buzz cut and I can play even harder with my new toys.

BEFORE – “look at my frosting wings!”

AFTER – “BZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!”
