A message from KJ…

Hi Friends and Fam -

Just wanted give a shout out to all of the people who check the Dawshonshire site regulary and apologize on my Mom and Dad’s behalf for the lack of content lately. Both my folks have been buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuusy. They’re working full time and the house is in complete shambles with a pretty sweet remodel. (New hard wood floors, new doors and all new wood work). What does that mean for me? Well the new floors are soooooooooo much fun. When I’m in my bare feet, I have lots of traction to cruise and with the little felty things on the furniture, I can push the kitchen stools all the way to the front door. Things are gonna look cool when it’s done. And not that I have any trouble sleeping with such loud house mates, but the solid core doors will not only look good but will keep the noise down.

 I’ve been having tons of fun this summer - I’m pretty jazzed that this weekend is my b-day. I’ve been overhearing some rumors about a push toy, more matchbox cars… and possibly a “Happy B-day” balloon, but we’ll see what the parents come up with. I’m also lobbying for a big plate of spaghetti for my b-day dinner. I LOVE Spaghetti!!

 Please note the unruly head of hair I have right now. Dad is threatening “buzz cut” for my b-day. Not sure if it’ll be that drastic but my parents are definitely preparing for the removal of my wings and the locks on the top of my head.

I am posting a few pics of our 2008 Dawson Day - This year I was awarded the Biggest Owie award. I was up against some serious contendors but since my scare to body size ratio was greater than any of the other owie candidates, I won. Next year we’ll hope that nobody is up for the award and we can celebrate something like biggest doom and gloom randt - typical Dawson Day content.

Mom hiked me up a mountain on the hottest day of the year last week. It was a great ride and a great view! I slept the entire way down.

 I’ll have the folks post pics from my b-day haircut, spag dinner and my Monster cake. This weekend is going to be all about me! (Cause the rest of the year isn’t…tee,hee).
