Summer Fun!

So it’s been a while since we’ve updated the blog. Shame on us because we’ve been having so much fun and have had lots of great photo ops to share with you all.

A few weeks ago we went to the Mchord AFB airshow. Keanon loved it and now spots airplanes in the sky just from the sound. As you can see from the pic here, KJ was well equiped to handle the booming sounds of the F15 flying over head.  As you can also tell from our handsome baby boy, he is growing, growing, growing. On his 10 month b-day, he was given a clean bill of health! He has gained over 4 lbs since his surgery and is not just on the charts for his weight and height but he’s actually in the 50th percentile for height and 25th for his weight. Such a huge win for a little guy who wasn’t even on the charts for his first 6 months of life.

KJ also hasn’t missed a beat has far as his development. We joke about putting at least a little hole back into his heart to reduce this crazy kid’s energy! He’s a speedster, crawling everywhere, cruising from table to chair, pushing anything he can push like stools and chairs around the house, pulling open all of the cupboards and drawers…and climbing up and down our flight of stairs. Yikes! He’s like the energizer bunny!!!

This month he is spending two days a week with Grandmom and Grandad Dawson. With knowing he’ll be with them two days in a row they’ve had the chance to get out and done some fun stuff - like head out to the Woodinville country side to pick berries and enjoy the sun!

It’s hard to believe that Keanon is approaching his 1st birthday! How quickly the time has gone by. At this time last year I was as big as a house and miserable in the heat. This year  the hot weather is so much more fun!

Love the pictures and he has gotten so big. We can hardly wait for his first birthday to get here. Thanks for the update.
