  2. 2007 – According to my chinese friends: the year of the pig(Boar) is the luckiest animal of the 12 chinese animals. Also known as the golden pig, or in this case, usa golden pig.
    According to some freaky website:
The boar sign in Chinese astrology has virility and fertility in association with it. If you have children in the year of the boar, it is looked upon to be fortunate and honesty and happiness will be with them. The boar is shy in character and loves to work behind scenes quietly and to themselves. Boars are also patient, honest and straightforward in their dealings with other people.

    Jim,

If you are still a deer in headlights, wait till she’s in labor!! :D

Congratulations man, now you’ll get to experience what I went thru:
    1. a mad woman in hot summer days (not fun at all),
    2. mood swings (and I’m not talking about her),
    3. the forbiddance of playing any video games, (OR scuba diving for you!)
    4. day/night/dawn trips to the supermarket for those cravings….
but when you get to hear the baby’s hearbeat for the first time, it’s ALL worth it!!!

Start planning your paternity leave, (YOU WILL NEED THIS), buy a nice sleeping bag for the hospital, and bring your Treo to all Ultrasound trips!

    Orale!

    Sis and brother-in-law,

We couldn’t be more excited for the both of you. We are still so excited that our babies are going to be so close in age. Our little girl will have a cousin to play with. We look forward to seeing you both in April and catching up!

Now, that I am official…get the pictures updated. I want to see the baby & Tonneka! I sometimes hate being so far from home…and missing out on these important times!

    Love, doretta

WOO HOO!!! I am so frickin happy man, this is awesome!!! A new addition to the clan. I am at a loss for words beacuse I have so many visions of fun things and future memories to have with your new child. I promise not to corrupt him or her until the age of 9 or so. This news has totally made my day! I will plant a tree over here in the wilds of Afghanistan in honor of the newest Dawson to grace us with love and birth. All my love and celebration, your friend and brother, Darrick

Wow! It seems that Jim has come out of is shell. ; ) Tonneka was always the social one, but now Jim seems to be absolutely thrilled! Perhaps because he too will soon have a little guy or girl running around the back yard squealing, laughing and crying. That’s pretty much all they get to hear when out enjoying their back yard when our 2 boys are outside. Seems like our dogs won’t be the only ones running the fence anymore! We are so very excited for the two of you! We’re looking forward to the squealing, laughing and crying. Oh wait, we won’t be there while Tonneka’s in labor!! Blessings!
love, Shelly, Ben and the boys
